The Life of Vincent Van Gogh

This term, our topic is called Art Alive. So far, my class and I have been learning about one of the most famous artists of ALL TIME, Vincent Van Gogh.

Vincent Van Gogh born March the 30 1853, in Groot-Zundert, Netherlands. It was very obvious that his true passion was visual arts. He was surprisingly the son of a Pastor, with a strong faith in God, but a lack of self confidence. Despite this, he was depressed most of his life.

He moved to Belgium, where he started art, after a few ineffectual jobs. He pushed himself to try and bring up happiness after two unsuccessful relationships. Inspired by another artist, Rubens, Van Gogh was inspired by his arts of the Japanese.

Unfortunately, after 900 paintings and 1,100 sketches and drawings, in 1890, Van Gogh died of committed suicide, “for the good of all”. Besides having his brother by his side, he thought no one appreciated him. Vincent Van Gogh is one of the most AMAZING painters of all time and his work will be loved for many more years. Here are my favorite paintings.
