Ancient Chariot Racing

Thanks to WIkipedia.org.nz for the photo :-)

Ancient greek chariot racing was a sport that was from the Olympics about 20,000 years ago. You had to have lots strength to play this sport, which is now not apart of our olympics that we know now. Strength would help you with control over the horse that pulled your chariot.

The origin chariot racing began, as I said, in ancient times. Although no one know who created this dangerous sport. Competitors race in a hippodrome, which is an oval shaped arena for the horses to race in. Chariot racing is a REALLY dangerous, yet exciting sport. I think that we are very lucky to not have this in our olympics this year.
