During the holidays, I attended the Glee Dance Workshop in the holidays at Pt England School. The night before I was bursting with excitement, hardly able to sleep, I was so excited about our practice.
Glee is a performing arts club with a variety of genres for students who like to perform, or for Pt England, P.E.P.A.(Pt England Performing Arts)
As I walked into the school hall, I saw most of the club inside. I hadn’t predicted everyone would arrive so fast. I was wondering who the older girl in the front was. It was our dance teacher, Esther. She told us to gather up in a circle to introduce ourselves. We then did some stretches and ran around the hall. FINALLY, we started!
As I watched Esther dance to our song, I saw the complicated moves that we about to learn. I watched the swift, gentle dance that she showed us with ease. She taught us the first few moves cautiously. We had to drop pretty low for the very first moves. I was very confused with the dance moves sometimes. After a few hours of hard work, we finished and went home.
I think that Glee was REALLY fun because it builds my confidence A LOT. I also reckon that Esther pushed me to level of dancing that I never thought I could achieve! She is very inspirational!!
