Learning the Art of Origami

This week, the Year 5&6 Extension learned to make Japanese folding art, or better known as Origami. Origami is a very elegant art form, and it has been around for HUNDREDS of years. It is traditional that all Japanese children must learn how to make the common crane.

I think that it was really fun finding out the art of Origami because I had never thought it would be so complicated and hard. It was a very easy and hard activity that I would love to experience again too!!
